Mitch Melan is a Financial Advisor and Coach with over two decades of experience in the Financial Services industry, having started in 1994.
Mitch is committed to providing trustworthy and responsible advice to his clients - to support many middle-class Americans in their efforts to live comfortably in the present and when they retire in the future. He has guided over 800 former employees, mostly Educators, to successfully retire and not have to work by making smart prudent financial decisions. He is very knowledgeable about Employer-sponsored retirement plans, having worked with thousands of K-12 Educators from various school districts in Metro Atlanta for over two decades. Mitch is also well-versed in all Pension matters relating to the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia.
He has lectured to Middle School kids on various investment topics so as to help educate themselves, and frequently speaks to High School graduating classes on the importance of financial literacy and investing. He is also the author of “Financial Freedom 101: how to get out of debt, stay out of debt, and increase your net worth.”
Mitch holds FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 Securities Registrations, is approved to conduct business in over two dozen states and is also licensed in multiple states to offer various Insurance and Annuity products. He is originally from Rockford, IL and attended Northern Illinois University.
He lives in Dunwoody with his wife Suzanne and two lovely daughters Addison and Payton. He enjoys spending time with family and friends at his vacation home in Wisconsin, reading, watching football, and working out.
